Ellie #603

She is a young elephant seal.  Out of the sea at Westport Beach for a rest and possibly a hand-out.

Since I can not publish video here, you can go to my facebook page: Annie Ma.

I have put up a video of her making her way toward some people (out of view) on the beach.

It is typical behavior for a seal that has been nursed back to health by Marine Mammal Rescue.  They feed the babies fish by hand.  In turn, the little ones imprint to humans.

I hope she makes it in the wild, wild sea.
